Despite the pleasantness of a scented product, fragrance isn't skin care and, in fact, can cause irritation (see More Info for details). The irritation factor is less of an issue in a rinse-off product like this, but the fragrant oils Arbonne chose (including lemon and coriander) are more problematic than many other fragrant ingredients, so this is not recommended, despite the fact that it contains gentle cleansing agents and some other helpful ingredients for all skin types. Founded in 1975 with the goal of providing skin-care products with "unparalleled quality and effectiveness," Arbonne International is a direct-sales line many of my readers have an intense curiosity about. There must be lots of assertive Arbonne salespeople out there, because no other line with this type of business structure has generated the amount of email we receive, all asking if Arbonne products are worth it and whether or not many of the company's outlandish claims are true. Cosmetics-grade mineral oil is not a problem for skin and is in fact one of the mildest and most effective ingredients for making dry skin look and feel better. Arbonne also advertises the fact that their products don't contain chemical fragrances because of their potential for causing allergic contact dermatitis. You will need to refute not only the employees' fervent belief that Arbonne products and philosophies are superior to all others, but also the assertion that joining the company is a life-altering experience on par with the most profound spiritual journey you can imagine. Speaking as a consumer, this sort of selling is not appealing, but we are sure there are others looking for just the financial opportunity and lifestyle change Arbonne offers. Those who agree with me should know that the About Face and Virtual Illusion collections include nothing that can’t be found elsewhere, from companies that make it much easier to obtain products than Arbonne does. The new Beautypedia Team proudly and unequivocally maintains the commitment to help you find the best products possible for your skin.
For the cost of $95 and 35% off your purchases, anyone can be an Arbonne consultant, no training needed- at anytime. Access to the Product Line will be displayed with information about the product and its ingredients. My first question was about how pure the products are and I got the response that always makes me cringe: We use the purest ingredients we can, wherever possible. But the Arbonne manifesto declares it so , using words like green, pure, simple, natural and healthy. The consultant went on to stress the importance that all of their products have gone through rigorous testing, all are FDA approved and all have a Drug Identification number (DIN). Wouldn't you rather know the products are tested and use ingredients that will keep the product stable and not go off, than stuff people just made up in their own kitchen? Not to mention that the oils that form the base of most of the Arbonne products, sunflower, safflower and in some cases canola, could not be confirmed as GMO-free. More pure, more safe, or more beneficial, is not the same as actually being pure, safe and beneficial. The challenge is that most of the information being circulated by Arbonne has been generated by the company itself and many consultants, understandably, trust it. As we know, change happens from the ground up and it starts with each one of us. Why are the products using this ingredient? What is the difference between this mascara and that one? Start calling for change, for transparency in the products, their ingredients and ensure they are truly as pure and beneficial as you are being told.

All the opinions on this blog are my own, and are truthful and honest. - The packaging for this product is absolutely GORGEOUS! It’s this lovely orange and beige color, and the containers that it comes in were something to be marveled. - The price of this product scared me a little at first. You can really feel the collagen in the serum, and it works to tighten your skin. I appreciated that the product had a nice touch of SPF, but the only unfortunate thing about SPF products, is that if you are taking pictures or anything to do with harsh lighting, you will have this ghostly glow around your face. This one didn’t clog my pores, and I noticed results of firmness and brighter skin in the morning. Although I didn’t believe it at first (trust me, I’ve tried plenty of products that promise miracles in 24 hours and seldom work), I have to agree with the product that my skin was visibly firmer and brighter within the first 24 hours of use. It could be my skin wasn’t used to the product, or just because of hormones, but I did notice a couple of little bumps that were irritating and required concealing. As for considering purchasing the product, I would definitely say that I want it, but the price is definitely something ridiculous. The products are good and show promise and change in the skins firmness. If I had to compare this skin product with another, I would say that it’s comparable in both price and quality with Chanel’s skincare line, but I enjoy Arbonne’s products because of their botanical use, and having vegan friendly products.

Founded in 1975 by Petter Mørck, Arbonne is a direct sales company that distributes beauty and health products made from botanical ingredients. Arbonne focuses specifically on anti-aging, skin and body, cosmetic, and nutrition products, which are tested and developed in their Irvine, CA Research and Development Laboratory. While the purpose of this review is to focus on Arbonne’s products, and not their compensation plan, there is one point that should be made. Arbonne Products. However, Arbonne products are not 100% natural. Based on our research, some of the ingredients contained in their products include hydrogenated castor oil, sunflower, safflower, and canola that are not certified to be GMO-free. In their defense though, Arbonne only claims to be “natural-based,” and not 100% natural, or even all-natural. In addition, all of their products are FDA-approved. Arbonne products are backed by a large company in business for more than 30 years. Arbonne can be a good transitional product between lower and higher-end skin care products. I use Arbonne products daily and my mom is a consultant. I have had no reactions at all to the products and would definitely recommend trying it at least.
Yes it's natural, and I do like the calm line. It does have silicone in the product and the orange oil should not be in a day cream. I have not tried the skin care for the face, as I'm very happy with what I currently use, which is the Eminence line. That being said, I recently started working with a girl who sells Arbonne products and I demonstrate the makeup line for her at her openhouses/parties because she's not trained in makeup. My skin is pretty dry, going to normal in the summer, and RED! I use the calm line and I really like it. I didn't try any of the nutrition based products because I believe lines should stick to what they know best and this brand started out as a skin care brand, which is what I feel they know and do best. She said if you don't like the line, you can't fake that you do around others and it's not fair to people buying it if you're faking it. So as a botanical line, it's pretty good but not my favourite and not the best I've worked with makeup wise. Some of them are over the top, some of them get that you said no and if you want to try it you will contact them. I think for the money, and if it works for you, you're making a great investment in the life of your skin. The RE 9 line does not suit my skin at all and burned on contact.
I was recently contacted by an Arbonne consultant who offered to send me some samples of their completely vegan skin care products to try out for myself. I have tried it all-olive oil for removing makeup, vitamin e oil for nourishing your skin, witch hazel for toning-I've even made my own facial toner with parsley, and I really do see the benefits of using all of those things. But there is something to be said for the convenience of buying something made specifically for your skin that you don't have to make yourself, especially when you feel like you can trust the ingredients. I thought I struck gold when I found Lauren at Dress Green who made the best vegan moisturizer I had ever used, but then she quit making it and left me searching, once again, for something vegan that would also work on my skin. It was as though my skin was somehow being cleansed and quenched at the same time. I am fair-skinned and have to wear sunblock every day, and sunblock under makeup tends to make my skin feel tired and stifled-there's a heaviness to it by the end of the day that I really don't like. This Arbonne line also came with an SPF 20 moisturizer that was light and airy and actually made my face feel better. There's a product out there that is totally vegan and makes my skin feel great. $323.00 for .5 ounce and 1 ounce containers of the six main components of the line. I do thank the Arbonne rep for sending me that amazing free sample, because WOW do I love that stuff and I have only been using it for 2 days now. In the meantime, feel free to send your recommendations of other (preferably affordable) vegan skin care products to me. Thanks again for the samples, Jennifer, and for your comment!

The conference is sold out now & they are now selling tickets for $100+ more than when I bought mine & have been told I will only get 80% refund for my ticket. In addition, it is March 24 2016 and I still have not received the. I'm not an Arbonne Consultant, but have purchased some of the products and have found that actually, it IS about the products! And have you looked at the ingredients?
The first products that I tried were the lipsticks, and I thought I would do a photoset of how they look on the lips! The textures are beautifully soft yet pigmented, which is often difficult to find with softer, more moisturizing lipsticks. I wouldn’t say that they are extremely long-wearing, as they are more of soft, moisturizing type of lipstick-but when paired with a lip liner and set with a powder, the staying power is great! I’m super impressed with the lip liners. The texture is firm, allowing you to get a really nice line, but soft enough that they are blendable and and really easy to work with. Last, but definitely not least: The Arbonne Lip Polishes! I am so so impressed with the color payoff and texture of these Lip Polishes! Overall, I’m very impressed with the Arbonne lip products. The colours and textures are all so gorgeous and easy to work with!

Arbonne International has been very successful and the company's profits have been consistently on the rise. Most people that try the items have good things to say and would generally buy more if not for the high cost. They constantly badger you on Facebook and i don't agree with the way you're forced to do business. Well not with Arbonne and the 45-day money back guarantee. Even with my 35% discount, the sales tax 8.15% (calculated by Arbonne) and the s&h eats up the discount. I live in a town of 2500 people and most of them are in the cemetery! I have never had a reaction to any products in the past for that matter. I am just saying, those who are negative do not know what they are talking about and do not have the energy or marketing skills to build a business. I am 77 years old and have been using Arbonne skin care (RE 9) products for 10 years. Was really interested in joining Arbonne as have a few friends who love the products.
