I am a Korean Skincare Routine Convert

I prefer to wear no makeup and do as little as possible to look presentable (this is now possible thanks to my skincare secrets revealed here ). Of course, as someone with sensitive skin, it makes finding the right products difficult and maybe that is why I have avoided/haven’t bothered with it for so long. Until recently, even I didn’t understand – and this was after I had bought the products. For the uninitiated, I think this is a good time to introduce the beast that is The Korean Skincare Regime! Cleansing oil. When I first got to this country, I had no idea what the hell was going on (in many ways), and the skincare industry spooked me. And this, friends, is what the Korean skincare routine and the. Cleansing Oil: Nature Republic Chamomile Cleansing Oil ( available here ) Now, I am not usually one for smearing oil on my face, but Korea has shown me the light. Many Korean women use cleansing oil to remove their makeup at the end of the day, and it really does work well as a gentle cleanser. Cleansing oil operates on the premise that like removes like, and using oil will actually remove oil without removing too much… Basically, you don’t want to dry out your skin too much and get that tight, sore feeling, because that will just lead to your face overproducing sebum (oil) like it’s going out of fashion. 11 Korean Beauty Secrets You Should Definitely Know

Whether they’re born beautiful, or whether it is their beauty regime, we all cherish and idolize the radiant, acne-free, and flawless skin that Korean women possess. But what is the secret of their beautiful skin and can we get a flawless skin like them too? The main difference between the Korean skin care and the other skin care regimes is that Koreans are taught to take care of their skin right from childhood. They consider skin care as the ultimate investment and spend considerable time in taking care of it. A good skin care regime reduces the chances of unwanted blemishes and other skin problems and makes your skin radiant . Cleansing and exfoliating help remove the impurities from the skin and unclog the pores for a smooth and refreshed skin. Toning sets the skin after cleansing and exfoliating so that the skin absorbs the moisturizer well. They replenish and nourish the skin, and simultaneously, shrink the size of pores. This is what toners actually do – refresh the skin and set it for the next skin care regime. It helps to brighten the skin and preserve its elasticity. more...

My Daily Skin Care Routine - 2/10/14

I have oily/combination skin, as most Asians do, and where I come from the winter is very drying for my skin. A plus of this cleanser is that it is made without parabens, sulfates, and phthlates, so it is gentle on the skin. Tea is also known to soothe and calm the skin. This toner is really good for winter AND summer because it soothes redness and fights pimples without over-drying your skin. I would be cautious if you're someone with dry or sensitive skin, as the tea tree may be a bit too drying for dry skin and may be a bit strong for sensitive skin. The grapefruit water contains a lot of Vitamin C, which brightens your complexion and promotes collagen production, which is essential for youthful skin. Due to grapefruit's fruit acidity, this ingredient also has antibacterial properties, and is good for controlling oil production. I recommend this product for everyone and anyone. I think this stuff is a miracle-maker, and it has worked amazingly for me. This moisturizer is heavily endorsed by my K-idol, Bae Suzy, and is awesome for the hot and humid summer season. Vitamin B 3 is responsible for soothing the skin with its anti-inflammatory properties and zinc helps to control oil production. Personally, I think it is a bit heavy to use as a morning moisturizer in the summer because I have oily skin, but if you have dry skin or even normal skin, then this may work well for you. Some emulsions are more watery than this one, but I was between choosing this emulsion and the cream from the same IOPE line. Locust tree flower helps to soothe and calm inflammation of the skin. Tea tree leaf oil is one of the best natural remedies for acne, as it has antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties. more...

The 5 - Step Asian Skincare Routine - Makeup For Life

Double cleansing is crucial in maintaining great skin because makeup can clog your pores and lead to breakouts. What I Use: DHC Deep Cleansing Oil and Cetaphil Gentle Cleanser. When you massage your skin, the temperature from your hands will help open up your pores and remove the dirt embedded within. Those with dry skin will benefit from hydrating sheet masks while those with oily skin should use a clay mask to draw out impurities and unclog pores. Gel and cream masks are for those with mature skin. Toners remove dead skin cells and residue from cleansers, replenish your skin with moisture after cleansing and make the absorption of any subsequently applied products easier and faster. When picking a toner, stay away from products with high levels of alcohol because it will only dry out your skin, causing your skin to secrete more sebum and making it oilier. It is a common misconception that people with oily skin do not have to use a moisturizer. If your skin is on the dry skin, go with a thicker cream. What I use: DHC Easy Care Milky Lotion for Dry Skin and DHC Q 10 Eye Cream. more...

My Korean Product Daily Skin Care Routine

Since I lived in Korea during the time my acne got worse and my mother is Korean, she’s the one who recommended and ordered these Korean skin care products for me. This is the most important step in keeping your skin hydrated and helping the products absorb into the skin. I keep the skin wet and pat my face to help my skin absorb some of the water. This is my day routine, at night it’s the same except I’ll also use eye cream to help reduce eye bags and prevent any future eye wrinkles. The AC Clinic Anti Trouble toner’s name is technically just “SKIN 79 AC Clinic Anti Trouble” but it is a toner since it states so on the back of the product. The 2nd product from this line is the SKIN 79 AC Clinic Anti Trouble Lotion. This product claims to be a “soothing lotion caring trouble by keeping balance of water and oil” (not the best English, but excusable since this is an Asian product and I like it nonetheless). This product isn’t too thick or oily and actually absorbs into the skin quickly. It takes care of my normal skin areas (my forehead and cheeks), but for my chin and nose, it’s not moisturizing enough so I also use a cream for that area. Apparently this product is pretty pricey (at least for me, at around $35 USD), but my mom is the one who tried this ISA KNOX line, liked it, and bought the set for me to also try out. It will sit on top of the skin when first applied, but give it about a minute and it’ll absorb and feels great! I used this cream just for the heck of it since it was sitting in my mom’s beauty product shelf unused, and I have to say I really do see an improvement. I like that this comes in a tube since it’s more sanitary and won’t taint the product as easily (unlike the ultra moisture cream, where it is in a tub). Most lip balms  are waxy and just sits on top of my lips, but this one actually absorbs (unless my lips are ultra dry in which it will just sit on top of the dry, cracked skin). more...

Asian Skin Care Guide : The Korean Skin Care Routine

There are a ton of whitening products in the Korean and Japanese skincare markets, and many of the multi-functioning products tout whitening properties as one of the major attributes. The nice thing about this layering technique is that you are not obligated to use Asian skincare products to do it. There are a lot of online shops as well as Amazon and Ebay sellers that carry Korean & Japanese skincare products. This is a list of online stores and sellers that I know carry authentic products from Korean and Japanese skincare brands. Wishtrend – Wishtrend is one of the first online Korean Beauty retailers to pop up on the scene, and they carry a large array of products from brands that are sometimes hard to find in other places. The selection is HUGE, products are authentic, and the prices are very, very low. They have a huge selection of Chinese, Japanese, and Korean skincare products. I Am Love Shop – Huge selection of Korean skincare products from most of the major brands, such as Etude House, Lioele, Missha, OST, Aritaum, Innisfree, Ciracle, and many others. My Updated Korean Skincare Routine - The Wanderlust Project

This one is focused on my nighttime skincare routine, using all Korean skincare products, and following the typical Korean skincare routine. It’s wintertime now, so my skincare routine is focused on getting the most amount of moisture into my skin as possible. I use one pump and massage it into my slightly damp skin. I use this one when I feel like my skin is extra dry or dull, as it’s a very moisturizing toner. If it’s around that time of the month, or I feel like my skin might be having some issues, I use the AC Care Water Essence, which I reviewed here . Before Winter really hit, I was using the AC Care Bee’s Cure Serum and the Repair Complex as my serum and emulsion, but I found that my skin didn’t feel moisturized enough (winter is rough), so I switched to the Missha Super Aqua Marine Cell Intensive Serum and Control Emulsion. I pump the serum into my hands, rub them together and gently pat it on my face. My nighttime routine is when I pile on the moisture, so that’s why I use both a cream and sometimes a sleeping pack. I use the Missha Super Aqua Ultra Water-Full Cream, which was totally an impulse buy after the sales woman tested a bit on my hand and I sort of melted. It’s perfect for people with dry skin, or for people who want a little moisture boost in the winter. I like this cream so much I actually use it in the daytime too. After applying my cream, I will sometimes opt to add just that extra layer of moisture and use my Nature Republic Super Aqua Max Deep Moisture Sleeping Pack. And I know some people may think that my skin must look like an oil spill by the time I go to bed, but nope. That’s the beauty of Korean products, they all seem to magically absorb into my skin, instead of just sitting on top of it. more...

How To Best Take Care Of Your Skin At Night

According to researchers at the University of California-Irvine, new skin cells grow faster while you sleep , so a good evening facial routine should be a high priority. At night, the goal is to repair damage from the day's pollution, sun and stress, as well as to hydrate since you lose more water from your skin as you snooze , according to cosmetic dermatologist Dr. Day and Julia Tzu, M. Start with a good cleansing to ensure you remove all makeup and build-up from the day. As such, she recommends using a cleansing brush like the Clarisonic or Olay Pro X along with a gentle face cleanser in lukewarm water to wash off dirt and oil. Tzu suggests using skincare products that are fragrance-free and hypoallergenic. They are, though, beneficial for opening pores so that active ingredients penetrate and easily absorb into the skin. Tzu instructs her patients to pat it dry and apply a small amount of retinoid all over the face. (Be sure to avoid the area around the eye, corners of your mouth and creases of the nose.) These creams work to brighten and heal the skin . "However, retinoids, especially those that are prescription strength, often dry the skin out. Put on a thick layer of moisturizer all over the face and neck. The biggest difference between daytime and nighttime moisturizers is that the former are lighter in consistency and often contain sunscreen. The consistency of nighttime moisturizers may not feel or look aesthetically pleasing to the user, but they make skin soft and supple. Day suggests reading the ingredients label for antioxidants, peptides and vitamins C and A to help repair the "insults" from the day. "[It] protects and hydrates the delicate skin of the eye," says Dr. more...

Korean Skin Care Routine

Here are the steps for a typical Korean skin care routine: Most people think toners are useless/overkill/drying to the skin, but if you pick the right toner for your skin type, it will be well worth your money. While many Western toners are designed to simply balance your skin's p H levels, many Asian toners aim to do that AND hydrate the skin with nutrients. I like to think that this is THE product to use when you're unhappy or unsatisfied with your skin in someway. Okay, so emulsion may not be for everyone, so depending on the season and/or your skin type, you may or may not need to use am emulsion. If you have oily skin, you may not need to use emulsions in your daily skin care routine. That way, your skin can heal while you sleep (which is, by the way, super important to your skincare routine!), and you wake up with beautiful, radiant skin :) You would use the exfoliator or peel after your gentle cleanser and before your toner. Sheet masks are great for any skin types, and should be used depending on your skin type. Depending on the season, the condition of your skin, etc., you may want to use sheet masks 1-3 times a week. more...

Is a Korean skin - care routine really worth it

Korean skin care products and practices involve a labor-intensive routine. One of the hottest trends in cosmetics is Korean products, which promise gorgeous skin but come with a product-heavy, labor-intensive routine. Lauren Ploch, a board-certified dermatologist in private practice at the Georgia Dermatology and Skin Cancer Center in Augusta, Ga., said the biggest difference between Western and Korean beauty products is the focus on "having clear skin first and foremost. The first Korean products that came to the U. Were beauty/blemish balm creams, known as "BB creams." The creams combine several products in one, Ploch said, such as being a foundation, a moisturizer, a sunscreen and perhaps including antioxidants or other anti-aging ingredients. "It was the novelty and the zeitgeist," she said. That helped lead to a wave of other Korean products, including the introduction of the labor-intensive cleansing steps. Korean skin care is "a very different philosophy (from American skin care) that if you want results, you have to make the time for it," Jhin said. Ploch said she thinks that 10 steps a day is overkill, but people who want to try out Korean products should look for gentle cleansers, serums and moisturizers based on their skin type. As far as the unusual ingredients like snail secretions, Weingarten and Ploch said to use a little caution. They don't have the same testing as products dermatologists prescribe for skin conditions, Jhin said. "The thing to take away from Korean skin care is relish your skin care, don't limit yourself (to a few) products and don't hurry through it. more...

A Guide to an Asian Layered Skincare Routine - LX Edit

Massage the oil into the face, working it well into the skin. Wet hands with warm water and press palms into the face, allowing the oil to emulsify. In Asian skincare, toners condition the skin and prep it for the moisturizing sequence. Skin softeners are a staple product in the layering routine and a product that women will swear by. Asian toners can also have a brightening effect on the skin – it’s no wonder that even Western toners, especially from natural/organic lines, are starting to follow in this manner! You can also apply to skin directly using fingers and work it in that way. If your skin is feeling dull or you need an extra something in your routine, try using a sheet mask after the skin softener. How to use: Pat the essence all over the face, pressing firmly to ensure it’s absorbed into the skin. Emulsions restore moisture lost during the day If your skin is oily, the emulsion might be your final treatment, but if you are doing an intensive moisture routine or have dry skin you can continue onwards (or skip the emulsion for a cream). How to use: Apply a generous layer over face and pat it well into the skin. How to use: Take a small dollop from the jar and apply evenly over the face in circular strokes. It sounds like a lot, but remember that because all the emphasis is on skin, the goal is to be able to wear less makeup and thus have less products on the face. With time and patience, you can master the routine that many Asian women prize, and be on your own way to luminous, dewy looking skin! more...

Wake up More Beautiful! Korean Night Skin Care Routine

For people with sensitive and acne prone skin, you will see that even if you exfoliate your skin well and often, you can see white dead skin’s right away. In cases like this, if you exfoliate your face about once a week very lightly, and you need to use products that can help you strengthen the protective layer of your skin and also your skin’s natural strength. For those of you who have excess sebum, the oily skin types, and for those of you who have partial parts of the face that is oily and dry is combination skin type. If you have combination skin, put it on your face lightly and the parts that are oily, put on another layer. Put a thick layer of the cream on the parts of the face u want to exfoliate, leave it for 2-3 minutes and after rinse with water, you will be able to feel that your skin has become smoother. For dry skin types, the proper amount of oil that need to be formed doesn’t form so the moisture flies off easily and that’s why you feel the dryness of your skin often. The key solution to dry skin types is maintaining your oil and moisture balance and to always make sure you have sufficient moisture for your skin. It’s a smart product that melts the oil dead skin and sebum so it brightens the tone for your skin, and has a lifting effect for your pores and skin. -When you open it, you will see that there is a yellowish fluid on the q-tip, just wipe it lightly on your face and it will leave your skin feeling shiny. This brings your skin to the best condition so whatever you put on afterwards will soak well into your skin and also your makeup will go on smoothly. It’s great for even sensitive skin types to use and if you put a lot of it on a cotton puff and leave it on your face like a sheet mask pack for calming and moisturizing it’s great to use. It’s a perfect product for those of you with dry skin and also that were worried about your pores. -How to use: for dry and sensitive skin types, put a thin layer on your face and soak it in, then put another layer on. Make sure you put on suncream in the morinig and for dry and sensitive skin types I want to recommend  Leilani’s suncream . more...

I Tried A Korean Skincare Routine and Here's What Happened

I Tried A Korean Skincare Routine And Here’s What Happened. I’ve tried tons of skincare routines, from quick all-in-one products, to multiple step routines, but nothing could have prepared me for a Korean skincare routine. A Korean skincare routine is pretty much the Cadillac of skincare regimens. Ever since the Western wold discovered this intriguing beauty regimen, the Internet has been buzzing about the benefits of following a Korean skincare routine. While I had heard a lot about the benefits of following a Korean skincare routine, I didn’t really know where to find the products and exactly what products I should be using for my skin. I consulted with a rep from the company that set me up on a personalized routine for my skincare needs. When I received the package of products, equipped with instructions, I knew I was in for a skincare adventure. To break it down for you, here’s what a day in my new Korean skincare routine looked like. The results of using a Korean skincare routine started pretty much immediately. By the end of my two week skincare experiment, my skin looked and felt amazing. Now that I’ve gotten the hang of the Koren skincare routine, I’ve ditched my instructions  (memorized everything now!) and have continued to use all of the products. It’s officially my go-to routine at the moment and I can’t wait to try more Korean skincare products! more...

The Korean Skincare Routine and Steps - The Budget Beauty

The Korean Skincare Routine and Steps. Over the past few months, I've been receiving emails from readers wondering about Korean skin care, such as the steps involved and what the best products are. Since then, I've been seeing a lot of articles in magazines talking about Korean skincare products and the multi-step routine that's popular in Asia. It's not just about the products (although there are some amazing ones out there), it's also about taking care of your skin and making it a priority. I'll be the first to admit that I barely had a routine for my skin.  My outlook has completely changed now that I'm taking the time to show my skin some love and it's looking healthier and younger, resulting in me having to wear less makeup. This is a guide that will introduce you to the world of Korean skincare and some of the products I've been using in my own routine. Korean Skincare products are very focused on quality ingredients and since the market is extremely competitive there, they have some very cutting-edge ingredients for a lot less than you'd find in Western skincare products.  I'm amazed at some of the serums and creams you can get from Korea that are packed with potent anti-agers or whiteners that are a fraction of the cost for the same thing in the U. The Routine. A lot of care is used to remove makeup and apply products gently to the skin, by either patting them in or using a light massaging motion.  Start by applying it to a dry face and massaging it into the skin to melt away the makeup. In the morning, just use a regular cleanser and skip the oil since your skin is pretty clean already from the night before. more...

Skin Care and A Routine

If you have to touch your face, wash your hands thoroughly with soap and warm water - or alternatively, use a face towel. Determine your skin type and buy skin care products to suit your skin type. This is an incredibly important step because if you buy products that aren't appropriate for your skin, they will be incredibly ineffective, and may worsen the situation. Dry Skin-If your skin feels very tight and is noticeably flaky in areas, then you have dry skin. If your face is visibly shiny, and literally feels slightly wet to the touch then you have oily skin. If you have oily skin, you should tone, exfoliate, use a spot treatment, and lightly moisturize once in a while. If you have combination skin, you tend to get oily around your nose, chin, and forehead area, and dry around your cheeks. If you have sensitive skin, use a moisturizer, cleanser, and spot treatment all suitable for sensitive skin. Apply the cleanser and massage it into your skin in upwards, circular motions. By restoring your skin to its natural p H, you also make it more resistant against bacteria and micro-organisms. So after cleansing and toning you should moisturize with a face moisturizer for your skin type. If you haven't applied enough moisturizer and your skin still feels a little tight, then apply a bit more. Your skin needs to get used to the frequency of being treated, and to the products you're using. more...

Korean Skincare Routine Steps - Detailed 10 Step SkinCare

The Korean 10 Step skincare routine is a must-do for all skin lovers. I have created a detailed video explaining each step and why you would use these steps in your routine. The whole point of this step is to remove your makeup completely. You can skin this step in the morning. This is to remove all the oil residue and to finally deep cleanse your face just in case all your makeup wasn’t removed during the first step. This step is to remove all the dead skin cells so that they don’t build up on your far and make your makeup catch and look patchy. Toning your face is essential to PH balance your skin for the steps ahead. This is like a shot of product to your face, and also gives you an excuse to relax. You can skin your moisturiser in favour of just a sleeping mask if you feel like it, and it’s probably a good idea for the summertime when your skin prefers a light moisturiser. Face mists are hydrating mists that refresh your skin during the day when you’re out and about or in an office. more...

Korean Skincare Routine

Patting is meant to help with absorption and let it penetrate deeper into the skin. I use this around 5 minutes after patting the essence in. It smells a bit muddy but you just smear this on and let it dry for around 5 minutes. This dries in a blink and is really good at pulling my impurities and blackheads to the skin surface. I use this after toning my face and I tone again after I remove it with water and a towel. I’d like to think it’s because the green clay mask loosens the oil in the blackhead and helps draw them to the skin surface, making it easier for this peel-off mask to attach to the blackheads and pull them off. This product is meant to ‘reach deep into the cornified layer of the skin to remove dead skin cells that clog pores,  support blackheads, thus eliminatnig and preventing formation of blackheads’. Which is pretty cool as it gives you the illusion that this product really works! I’ve used the gel version before but I decided to try this as it may be gentler for the skin. I really do like the scent of grapefruit so I got this along with the cream wash. I really liked the fact that this is an oil-free product cos in Asia, sweating is mandatory. I think this is a great lotion moisturiser and I don’t get oily until mid-day, but I blame the weather for that. I’ve just really been enjoying taking care of my skin and I think the difference does show! more...

The Best Morning Skin - Care Routine

While most of us know that, as a minimum, we should slap some SPF on our skin before heading out into the day, fewer of us are keyed into the idea that other airborne nanoparticles (like smog, cigarette smoke, soot, pollen, water droplets, and pollutants) contribute to aging skin. Skin care, SPF is only half the battle; we’ve got to clean our skin and arm it with antioxidants (then UV protection) to ensure we’re really ready to face the day. To figure out how to best protect our skin from good, old UV and the solid and liquid particles suspended in the air (many of which are generated during the combustion of fossil fuels), we spoke to Dr. Debra Jaliman , a New York-based dermatologist and author of Skin Rules , about the best way to handle our morning skin-care regimens. more...

Enter Peach and Lily : an e-tailer that curates the best in beauty from Korea and Japan—only 5% of brands make the cut—so that American women can have the crème de la crème from Asia at their fingertips. We spoke with the e-boutique’s co-founder and trained aesthetician, Alicia Yoon, and asked her to divulge the secret to Korean women’s bright, plump, dewy complexions. And for that, our complexions are grateful. “While there are differences throughout the two different regimens—for example, the double cleansing method Korean women use—the biggest difference happens in the steps between toner and moisturizer,” Yoon says. “And then the next day you might add a radiance-boosting serum on top of that because your skin looks and feels dull.”  With that belief in mind, Korean women literally view these products as food for the skin, nourishing and rejuvenating their complexions from the inside out. What if you aren’t satisfied with just that and want a refined skin texture—the kind of translucent, delicate skin that small children have before age weathers and leathers the skin? And this is exactly the reason why a Korean woman will double-down on these steps—she’ll walk through a store with rows and rows of beautifully packaged bottles that promise to meet her a la carte skincare needs and deliver results. “They go deep in the skin, include active ingredients, and are used before moisturizers.” Having said that, she does explain their differences: essences are more watery, lightweight versions of serums, ampoules are intense, concentrated versions of serums, and face oils are lipids that can be used alone or together with the medley of serums, essences and ampoules. The general rule of thumb that Korean women go by is applying products in the order of consistency. “The more viscous a product, the later it goes on.” That said, she also says that many of these products, like face oils and serums, can even be mixed together in your hand and applied together for a smoother application. “We do lengthy focus group tests, interviews with the brands’ R&D teams, and constant mining of reviews and formulations so that we can fully stand behind the products we picked for various skincare needs—here are some of our favorites!” more...

MY KOREAN SKINCARE ROUTINE - MORNING, NIGHT and

I mentioned this before in my post on Korean Sheet Masks , I haven’t always had the best skincare routine. I think the last 10 years I’ve used bar soap on my skin. Well, I got super obsessed with the idea of a Korean skincare routine. I’ve always had very nice skin. I’ve been using this routine for about 2 months and I am amazed at how supple, clear, and bright my skin looks and feels. I did a ton of research on what products would work for my normal/dry skin. I suggest doing your own research especially if you have oily/combination skin to find the best products for you. I can promise you that you will be amazed at how much better your skin looks and feels. more...

This way, I’m able to more accurately observe what each new product is doing for my skin, and if I do have a reaction to something new, I’m able to pinpoint which product is the culprit. Please note that I’m only using one product for each category at any given time, with the exception of serums and p H dependent treatments. You can check out my post about the moisture barrier, acne, and skin sensitivity for more information about this topic. This is the most affordable of my top 5 cleansers, and has been a staple of mine for a very long time. Where to Buy: You can find this cleanser at Sephora.com , where it retails for $45. Where to Buy: You can find this toner on the Silk Naturals website , where it retails for $9. This one remains my favorite – it is extremely effective and has the shortest ingredient list (less potential for irritation or product reactions). Instead, you can use BHA with your morning routine and retinol in the evening. I do think this one is great for all skin types, and oily types will probably have better luck with this sunscreen than the UV Creamy Gel. Where to Buy: This sunscreen is available on Amazon for $23 , and is available for Prime shipping. more...

Here's what happened when I tried a 12 - step Korean skin

The regimen is usually characterized as a 10-step process using some skin care products in categories that don't even exist in the U. In the morning, you are allowed to skip the oil-based cleanser and just use the foaming cleanser since your skin is already pretty clean from the night before. Toner: I'm a toner scoffer and I don't think I've used one since my Sea Breeze days, but it's an intrinsic part of the process. Product: Be the Skin Botanical Pore Toner , $25. Serums: "With serums it doesn't matter the order you put them on, but this is where the steps multiply and it starts getting crazy," Yoon said. I did this before the toner. You've done all that work twice a day, so in order to maintain that dewiness you've achieved and "re-activate" the products, you must mist periodically. RATING THE REGIMEN: After a few days of fumbling, this regimen, with the exceptions I noted, became pretty routine for me. I have been battling hormonal breakouts for a while, and when I embarked on this regimen, they were finally starting to be controlled - I was really concerned that all this product would exacerbate the issue. I should note that this particular regimen was very expensive, because the products were from fairly high-end brands. And I love the two-step cleansing system and toner. Ditto the sleep mask and gel peel. more...
