Ren Hydra-Calm Global Protection Day Cream. This Ren Hydra-Calm Global Protection Day Cream is my favourite moisturiser. My skin can react to some products but the Ren Hydra-Calm Global Protection Day Cream provides my skin with all the moisture it needs without breaking me out. I have got oily skin and I have no problems with this Ren Hydra-Calm Global Protection Day Cream. This Ren Hydra-Calm Global Protection Day Cream has a gorgeous smell, feels very natural on the skin and is definitely great for sensitive skins. Ren Global Hydra-Calm. I find this Ren Hydra-Calm Global Protection Day Cream to be great on my sensitive skin - it's non-greasy, protective and gives a lovely glow. But, although happy and content with using Pai moisturiser for sensitive skin, I thought my skin deserved a change, just for a while. This Ren Hydra-Calm day cream for sensitive skin, has been exactly what my skin needed as it has calmed down my rosacea better than the Pai I was using, but it has not cured it. Based on a week or so of use, I will be purchasing this Ren product again in the future. It's good and my skin likes it.
And actually, the REN products aren’t overpowering in the slightest, it’s just that the faintly churchy smell is a bit of a surprise when the packaging is so white and clean. But the creams worked well on my skin – a plumptious, nourishing feel and no breakouts or issues with richness. They take a little longer to sink in than some moisturisers, but I don’t mind that so much, especially with the night cream, and after a minute or so there’s absolutely no residue at all. It’s actually the night cream I like best – it reminded me so much of a cream I used to use years ago. And it turns out, after some Googling, that the cream I used to use years ago was actually REN’s Frankincense Night Cream, which I think is an older version of the V-Cense! Perhaps this cream is far richer – I’d hazard a guess that it is, seeing as though it’s the Intense version. The ingredients list shows that it’s jam-packed with great oils, including argan and macadamia, as well as frankincense, hyaluronic acid, Vitamin E and various essential oils.

The Right Brain’s REN response: REN’s website says their products are free of skin-unfriendly ingredients and potential irritants like the ones you sited above, yet in reality, many of the ingredients they avoid have NOT been proven to cause problems. But setting aside the ethics issue for the moment, let’s see how REN lives up to their promise of avoiding “nasty” ingredients. Here’s a fact that you might not know about fragrance: companies are now required to list any known allergens contained in the fragrances they use. REN has some lovely formulations and it appears that, for the most part, they’ve gone out of their way to avoid ingredients that people THINK are bad for their skin. Do you pay more for brands that are “safer?” Leave a comment and share your scare with the rest of the Beauty Brains community. Not to mention the cleansing milk or whatever felt like wax and like it didn’t clean my skin. Glad it was a sample and not the actual product! The fact that companies like Ren, Josie Maran, or 100% Pure try to avoid health hazard ingredients in their cosmetic products (as parabens, imidazolidiny urea, dea, tea, etc.) and issue products that are also very effective, to me is enough to attract my attention toward these types of firm. If there is a doubt that a certain ingredient can be risky for the health or may affect the health system or endocrine system, I simply do NOT want to have this ingredient in any of my personal care and cosmetic products! And I am willing to accept these ingredients only if and when their total safety for the human body will be proved. In the past, I have also tried various products by very famous international cosmetic companies and… Yes, they may be effective, but in the vast majority of them I have found ingredients that I did not and I do not want to find. After I made a long and time consuming research on the ingredients included in the vast majority of the cosmetic products, I have decided that from now on I will always and only look for brands that sell natural products whose effectiveness meets total safety, and I am very glad that EU regulation increased the standard requirements for cosmetic products to be sold in Europe. This regulation it is not complete and not perfect, but when it comes to safeguard the health of consumers, I prefer to have something (even if incomplete) than having nothing at all.

I have very sensitive skin and everything I have used in the past makes my skin itch or breakout in a rash, but the products in this line, which they have many products for sensitive skin, are truly wonderful. I have tried the milk face wash which leaves your face feeling so clean and soft. This is the best product I have come across in my decades of using skincare products.
