For the private bookings, you are able to choose your your doctors, from the senior consultants to newbie dermatologists. I have lost faith in National Skin Centre despite the huge NATIONAL in front of its name - because it's supposed to be reliable. A few years back I had a sudden attack of rashes - red spots all over me so sudden and serious that I couldn't bear to step out of the house, much less go to work. GPs couldn't advise much and I went to the National Skin Centre. So they had to cut a tiny sample of my skin from my tummy, about 1cm in diameter, for tests and diagnosis.
