Use this mix on your skin every night before you sleep and wash it off in the morning. You can absolutely use the recipe above to exfoliate your clear skin too. So far (a week or so) I have been using fresh aloe from the plant alone and its great. You can also mix the jojoba in with the aloe before applying to help with this. After years of being a hamster, trying different products and methods that will work for my skin type, I'm here to share with you some of what I've learned and discovered - my skin care regimen for acne-prone, oily, sensitive skin. I have very oily, sensitive and acne-prone skin. My face is also sensitive that I really have to be careful with the products that I use that's why I read the ingredients label of the products that I use not just for my skin but for my hair too. These cause premature aging and can clog pores, can instantly give more acne especially if we have the same skin type! Most shampoos contain this and could really irritate the skin (if you're getting body acne especially on your back and shoulders, this might be the culprit) The typical skin care regimen is cleanse, tone and moisturize but what about for people with acne-prone, oily and sensitive skin? Before the next step, make sure your skin is already dry and make sure your face towel is clean. What I also love about this toner is that it contains not only tomato extract, but also chamomile, lavender and rosemary that are perfect for treating inflamed acne. 5-10 minutes after toning (enough time for the toner to be absorbed by the skin), this is where Dan's regimen highlight comes in - 2.5% benzoyl peroxide. This is the time you give your skin to absorb the benzoyl peroxide. I hope this skin regimen works for me for a very long time. I am still wishing that this skin care regimen works for me for a very long time.

The superscripts mark when I have changed my skin care routine and link to explanations below as to why I added or removed certain products. 1 I ran out of Cetaphil Gentle Cleanser and decided to see how my skin would react if I just used Albolene and water as my cleanser. After not using Cetaphil Gentle Cleanser for 3 months, my skin is still pretty much the same. Water from the shower seems to remove enough of the cleanser to make my skin feel moisturized but not overly greasy compared to when I just tissue off and rinse at the sink. I like the finish (you can't even feel it on your skin) and it doesn't sting my eyes. But, usually these experiments leave me with more irritated skin and less money, so I try to stick to my rule of " if it ain't broke, don't fix it ." Skin Care Routine for Acne Prone Skin. After a lot of hit and trial, I have found a great solution in the last couple of months and you won’t believe it, my skin has completely cleared out. So, here is a skin care routine for acne prone skin for people who are currently dealing with acne. STEP 1 – Cleanse With A Mild Cleanser That Is Meant For Acne Prone Skin – Salicylic acid is great when I’m not currently dealing with breakouts and only need to take care of blackheads and scarring. STEP 2 – Use An Acne Toner – I am skipping this step currently but I know people who include it without any mishaps. This toner is not only effective for acne but also takes care of dirt and blackheads. Even with extreme acne, you need to allow your skin some time to breathe and heal. I don’t just use it on the problem areas but also to cover my cheeks and chin (this is where I get most breakouts). Skip this step if you are going out. No matter how oily your skin is, you have to moisturize it after the BP is completely absorbed. I use the powder after this step. I followed this routine for a week and *sigh* it is so nice to have clear skin again.
It was worth it to me for the clear skin, but then I got fed up with Proactiv's customer service and their system of ordering. Pat dry with a absorbant soft towel, never scrub with a towel or face cloth, this can just irritated the skin and acne. This is the third step of their skin care system. Aside from the benzoyl peroxide I feel like this step has drastically improved the over all appearance of my skin. It lessons the red in my face and acts as an over all toner, and it makes my skin feel so healthy. This is something to be careful with as you dont want to irritate the skin. I use a pea sized ball in on the tips of my fingers and very gingerly run it over my skin. You do not need to put pressure with this product, its fine and abrasive enough to do the job flawlessly. If I have a pimple surfacing I immediately apply a smoothed on dot of this on the affected area and sleep with it over night.

Those who struggle with pimples and blemishes will have to admit that there's necessary to adapt their skin care routine to their sensitive complexion. It might be surprising that leaving the hair touch our sensitive skin is as damaging as the use of inappropriate skin care products. However it is true that more closer the strands get to our complexion the more the chance increases for the formation of a skin disorder. Certainly those who have acne-prone skin observed that pimples might appear in a larger number on the sections where the hair gets in contact with the skin. By touching the door-handles as well as other stuff that might carry these harmful agents then touching your sensitive skin, you might launch a series of unpleasant reactions that lead to acne, irritation and other severe problems. Spare your complexion of the skin problems with useful breathing techniques that can calm down your nervous system. Indeed the use of the proper cleansers for your skin type , moisturizers and toners is the basis composition to eliminate the chance for the formation of acne and pimples. Apply these products to your skin with a regularity, skipping certain steps might deprive your complexion from the necessary nutrients and treatment.
Acne appears on the skin as. Sebum (oil) is a natural substance that lubricates and protects the skin. Here are some factors that don't usually play a role in acne: Sweat does not cause acne and is produced by entirely separate glands in the skin. On the other hand, excessive washing can dry and irritate the skin. Pressure: In some patients, pressure from helmets, chin straps, collars, suspenders, and the like can aggravate acne. Other drugs that can cause or aggravate acne are anticonvulsant medications and lithium (Eskalith, Lithobid ). Most cases of acne, however, are not drug related. Of the many available brands of skin-care products, it is important to read the list of ingredients and choose those which have water listed first or second if one is concerned about acne. My skin is highly acne prone, although over the years it has calmed down quite a bit and I don’t break out as easily. The problem with anti-ageing products is that they are often too emollient and cause breakouts. As my skin has calmed down, I am gradually moving on from hard-to-find, medicated and boutique products (I’m looking at you Avene Triacneal ) to drugstore products that I can pick up while running errands. I don’t care for its artificial fragrance (smells like an incense stick) and the non-existent ingredient list, but out of the limited options, this face wash wins. It is an alcohol-free toner that doesn’t irritate the skin. It claims to even out skin tone, but I haven’t been able to figure how much it has helped since I use other products to do that. Between Alba Botanica and the essence, my face feels lightly moisturized and ready for treatment products. It is not a moisturizer technically, but a humectant that pulls moisture to the skin. After over a month of twice-a-day use, it hasn’t been able to fully fade 2-3 light pimple marks on my face but has evened out the skin tone quite a bit. This product comes with a lot of claims and is but a decent eye cream.
My Korean skincare routine for dry, acne-prone skin. My skin was softer, less dry, and less flaky. Not only does my skin feel rougher and flakier, but my pores, comedones, and blackheads get larger. Using these pads has helped refine my skin texture and keep my blackheads in check. It doesn’t seem to do much except make my skin somewhat softer, though still not as much as the horse oil serum did (which I will talk about in a second!) But for the sake of completion, this is the toner I am currently using. It hasn’t made my skin much softer since then, but that’s okay—for softness, let’s go to the next product! 5.) Guerisson 9-Complex Essence: for major skin softening! Within the first few days, my skin felt like velvet–yes, velvet! 6.) Guerisson 9-Complex Cream: for helping my dry skin in general (review here) This is the infamous horse oil cream that I love and will be ordering a second jar of very soon! My skin generates a bit of sebum on its own and I no longer feel dry throughout the day. Smoother and softer skin overall. Now, that’s not to say that my skin is perfect!
Even for oily or acne prone skin people it is important. Because if your skin is stripped off all the moisture, the skin produces more oil to make up for the loss. But Himalaya Neem facepack did .it worked wonder for my skin and ever since I started trusting this brand like anything under the sun. Its not the mere sunlight that does the trick of spoiling your skin but the radiation of the UV rays leading to pigmentation, tan and also uneven pigmentation(which I have). For cleaning up my eye make-up I use pure coconut oil and then wipe off with lakme cleanser so that I don’t have to rub the area hard. I also use a Lakme cleanser to clean away the dead cells after I have steamed my skin. I have almost the exact same skin as you, and I use nearly the same routine and products ! As in, it takes aaway all the oil + removes dead skin + makes you look fresher. The peel off by himalaya HURTS the skin! I have the same problem, very oily in summer/monsoons and combination-oily in winters, yet if I use creams, I break out. I have the worst facial skin possible. Hi…one more on the list with oily skin. The best part is you can use it daily after cleansing the skin.

If you have oily skin, you should tone, exfoliate, use a spot treatment, and lightly moisturize once in a while. If you have sensitive skin, use a moisturizer, cleanser, and spot treatment all suitable for sensitive skin. Apply the cleanser and massage it into your skin in upwards, circular motions. By restoring your skin to its natural p H, you also make it more resistant against bacteria and micro-organisms. So after cleansing and toning you should moisturize with a face moisturizer for your skin type. If you haven't applied enough moisturizer and your skin still feels a little tight, then apply a bit more.
